MY PRAYER

Lord, close my eyes so I deny all the distractions coming.

Guide my feet and where I go because Im tired of runnin.

From Myself…

Lord, filter my ears and all the things I hear.

So I don’t capitulate to the pressure of life and things I fear.

Use my voice because that choice is what defines a man.

Give me peace, protect my soul from things that I can’t understand.

Lead me on, I’m knowing that you made me strong;

And forgiven me for all the times that I was doing wrong.

Renew my mind, my thoughts sometimes can lead me astray;

But nevertheless, I thank you lord for Another day.
